Talan UK is expanding its team we are looking for an Azure Architect / Tech Lead Azure Data & Analytics able to support projects, pre-sales, with an end-to-end approach across the entire data value chain.

As a Talan Consultant you will have the opportunity to access project and team management functions, but also to highlight your initiatives by contributing to our commercial and organizational development.

Responsibilities

·        Define and specify target architectures

·        Implementation of standards and good practices

·        Organize and supervise the development teams in a “hands on” logic with a direct implementation capacity

·        Participate in pre-sales processes

·        Carry out a technological watch in the Data & Analytics field

·        Participate in the recruitment of new consultants

Skills

·        Successful experiences in the design and deployment of data platforms on Azure with the implementation of key components (Synapse, Data Factory, Data Lake, Analysis Services, Databricks, PowerBI, etc.)

·        8-10 years of experience in next generation Business Intelligence / Data

·        Azure Certified Cloud Architect type certification

·        Excellent knowledge of key concepts IaaS, PaaS, SaaS

·        Implementation of DataOps principles

·        Knowledge of security issues

·        Good understanding of star schema, snowflake, data vault 2.0 modeling methodologies, etc.

·        Good knowledge of data technologies in general: ETL / ELT integration, storage, visualization, artificial intelligence, big data, IoT, etc.

·        Good knowledge of other data ecosystems (AWS, GCP, Snowflake)
