Your Team

We deliver best-in-class technical administrative support services as a Business Process as a Service (BPaaS) for our client’s depository function (Verwahrstellenfunktion). In addition, we provide advice to business partners with our extensive professional experience and specialised knowledge, without making decisions or exercising discretion. As a team, we play in the champions league when it comes to collegial cooperation to meet service levels as well as time frames. We spearhead the new service offering around depository needs and creatively develop new services. Last but not least we celebrate our successes together and after the Corona crisis also again with a joint breakfast in the office or sometimes after work at Düsseldorf’s famous Altstadt.

Your mission 

• Technical and disciplinary management responsibility for currently 17 employees including their further development along the entire value chain, from the validation of valuation prices to fund price reconciliation and the investment limit checks
• Professional representation of our company as well as proactive communication and cooperation with auditors, business partners / depositaries (Verwahrstellen) and their Fund Managers (Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaften)
• Coordination of all tasks of the day-to-day business including collaboration with other Global Back Office (GBO) Towers and participation in release tests
• Ensuring compliance with the KPIs agreed in the service level agreements for Fund Administration as well as development and design of the services offered
• Ongoing optimisation of the daily business processes as well as the technical infrastructure supporting the processes

What you need 

• Banking education, Bachelor’s degree or equivalent with good knowledge of financial instruments and regulatory requirements
• 8 – 15 years of professional experience of which at least 5 years in fund accounting at a depositary or a fund management institution
• Strong sense of responsibility and solution orientation with high level of integrity and reliability as well as self-confident and communicative personality
• IT affinity and process oriented mind with comprehension of complex issues and strategic analytical thinking skills along with assertiveness and a creative mindset
• Good command of written and spoken English and German as well as good handling of Microsoft Office Suite

You will get extra points for the following

• Management experience in fund accounting of a depositary (Verwahrstelle) or fund management company (Kapitalverwaltungsgesellschaft)
• Completed university or applied science Master’s degree in banking, business administration or equivalent
• Business fluent English and advanced Microsoft Office Skills
